The event starts at 8.00 pm The lecture on "Church and Politics in Greece: the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the governor Ioannis Kapodistrias, 1828-1831" will be given by Mr. Emmanuel Chalkiadakis, Postdoc Professor of History at the University of Oxford, Instructor of Church History and History of Modern Hellenism at the Ecclesiastical Academy of the University of Heraklion. The interlocutor will be Mr. Konstantinos Manikas, Assistant Professor of Ecclesiastical History of Modern Hellenism in the Faculty of Theology at the University of Athens.
