Piano concert with Vassilis Varvaressos at Vouleftiko in Nafplion.
The event starts at 9.00 pm
Born in 1983, Vassilis Varvaressos was the youngest winner of the Young Concert Artists competition in New York at the age of 14. That event was only the beginning of many distinctions for him and his career that reached its peak in 2012: a recital in Carnegie Hall, so successful that the U.S.A president himself invited him to play at the White House. The acclaimed Greek soloist will give the first concert of the week in the historic building of Vouleftiko with a program that balances between baroque, classical, romantic and impressionistic sounds. Presenting the audience with an experience as described in the New York Concert Review: “Varvaressos not only has a natural yet finely honed technique, it springs as one with the wide scope of profound musicianship”.
